Bring it on up; it's got to smoother than the '98 HOG we popped last night! Actually no experiance with this one, but some observations on the '91 vintage. It is one of those whose numbers keep going up as time goes on. Some people such as Dan Berger think '98 is one of those too. WS describes the vintage as "intense and long aging."
We popped a '91 Optima, Alexander Valley, earlier this year and it was wonderful. WW said that their's are usually made for consumption on release, but sometimes could produce a sleeper that would age well. My reasoning is that if the Optima could do it, almost any '91 cab could.

Corley didn't make it into the cellar, but as previous tasting notes on the 91 vintage indicate, it is a very good to outstanding vintage. Corley is a good solid producer, so go for it Drew-Bird-dog. WW

In today's (12/6/01) edition of "Dan Berger's Vintage Experiances, Dan has an article entitled "1991 Redux." He also has current TNs on seven 1991 California Cabernets. A couple of short quotes should be of interest. "In is annual 10-year retrospective of Cabs, the Santa Rosa Press Democrat tasting panel found that the 1991s are aging better than any vintage it has yet tasted." And, "If you have any 1991s, I suggest you try them as soon as possible."
