Had this with a friend yesterday as " After B/D " wine . One of the stars of the killer 94 vintage this bottle did nothing to diminish the rep. Vibrant brite ruby, with a nose that filled the tasting bar with flowers, cinnamon, cassis and deep fruit.Long mouthfeel, a strong center and the legendary 5-lapper finish this wine comes close to perfection in a glass. Has to be one of the top 3 wines of the vintage. A solid 96/95. 65 by the box at issue. 179 at our local pushers. Worth ebbery peonie.WW

Opened the last of these beauties to watch the US Open and me beloved Cardinals kick patootie on the SFran 49rs. A little payback was in order here and, Lo', it came to pass. All Is Okie-Dokie. WW
