This is a reliable family operation that vintage after vintage produce wonderfully balanced, long-lived cabs from their estate vineyards just east of St. Helena. Deep ruby with a lush nose of deeep cherry fruit, a touch of vanilla, cocoa, and a dusty spiciness. Good entry, a wonderful center palate, and an extremely long finish. This bottling has lots of silky tannins that will carry it for another 6-10. A tremendous bottle from the sesational 94 vintage. If you gots it, keep it! WW

Don't they make a pretty decent sparkler as well?
