After the Friday nite spl;urge I looked at the cellar inventory list for something special.A long-neglected bottling caught my blood-stained vision...... 1991 Conn Creek Anthology!!!!! After my trusty lever Screpull performed its' duty the whole family room was filled with this voluptrous perfume. CB came in from the kitchen to find out what I was up to.Straight from the bottle to the Vinium and what a KICK-PATOOTIE this sucker was! After the 1st glass evaporated, Jeff the owner of Convivo called and asked what I'd planned for dinner. He said he was making Lobster Thermidor for a special party and wanted to know if CB and I would like to pick up some.
Ran oput so fast the door-knob dint even have a shot. Took the Conn Creek wif'me. Jeff and his lovely wife plus Ted And Mike, their 2 waitstaff people, almost went into cardiac arrest at the aroma. If the finish was 1/2-lapper longer this wine would be the 1st 100 pointer I've had in the last 5 years. All work stopped for the 20 minutes it took them to drink that hummer. What a way to end this lovely holiday. CB broke out her favorite SW, the 97 Pride signed by that handsome devil Bob Foley, Him-Very-Ownself. The lobster was killer, and the bottle of 95 Beringer Knights Valley went almost unnoticed. Today will be VERY laid-back. WW

The proper question is whether he checked his pants afterward.
