Another success story from this uneven vintage. Med brite ruby. Nose has loads of black, blue and rasp Berries, subtle sweet spices and floral (violets and roses?). All come over on the palate with the addition of a scooch of earthiness. Great mouthfeel, soft and supple with a nice center. The only minus is the finish only hits the 3&1/2 lapper mark. Nice solid wine. 89/?(can't find my purchase price 14.4% alc. WW

WW, have you had the 2000 vintage?

No I haven't but with his wine-making expertise I'd wager it's very drinkable. WW
