- TheEngineer - 03-07-2008 Wow, its been 8 days since anyone's posted here. That must be a record. Anyways, I bought this box wine because it was cheap ...ish and nice to look at. 1.5L of pure California Cabernet. Heavy porty nose and tonnes of wood chips. Color looked a bit oxidized which surprised me seeing that it was in a sealed plastic container. Proof that box wines don't age... One sip, 1.5 L down the drain. - winoweenie - 03-07-2008 The weener has been on a Syrah and Pinot splurge the last few. Soory about the box...Musta' been an infected tree.
