What wine would you recommend with:

Spicy Halibut w/ Mango Salsa and Orange- Ginger Butter Sugar Snap Peas.

Hi Flinger and welcome to the board. This happens to be one of my favorite dishes and I love a Pinot Noir with this sucker. Try to pair it with a young vibrant bottle so itr handles the ginger. I'm sure you'll get some other suggestions. WW

I'd weigh in with one of the lusher, fruiter styles of California Sauvignon Blancs (also called "Fume Blanc") -- the acidity of Sauvignon Blanc matches the citrus, and the fruitiness of the wine matches the tropical fruit in the salsa. Try one from Hanna, De Loach, Quivira, or Murphy-Goode from Sonoma, Duckhorn, or St. Supery from Napa Valley.

An unusual choice would be the tropical fruit scented, yet lightly dry, Ca' del Solo Malvasia Bianca, made by Bonny Doon Vineyards.
