We have an electrician that works for us, He happens to be the brother of the owner of our company. He was asking me for advice for a wine to take to their family gathering this weekend. He said that they mostly drink Chardinay, but they are having grilled steaks. I would sugest a Cab., but I think that they would probaly like something more fruit forward, end easy drinking.

IMHO, I was thinking a Spanish Temperanillo or Grenache.

What are your thoughts?

PS, I Think he is trying to impress a special someone.

How about one of those pinot syrahs that Bucko loves to hate.

Pinot Syrah?

Are you talking about the 02 Loring Rosella's, that KC talked about for Thanksgiving.

Anyone from the $40+ Loring down to and including the HRM Rex-Goliath, Free Range, Central Coast, Pinot Noir for $8. There is a 100+ post over on wineloverspage.com on the subject that was started by none other than Herr Buckster.
