does red wine lose any of it's value in any way by leaving the cork open??? i had mistakenly left one of my bottles of wine open for a couple of days without the cork on...thanks for your answers..

I'm afraid two days after being opened your wine has lost almost all its value, cork or no cork. Same goes for all wines.

No possible health benifits lost though, Bridgehorse....Just some flavor and enjoyment points.
