My mother is a sugar diabetic, and she had me scan this website for some kind of low sugar wines. Any ideas??

Dry table wines have only a trace of sugar, and are safe for most diabetics. They do contain some carbohydrates from sources in the process that are not sugar connected. One doctor on the board pegs it at about one gram of carbohydrate per ounce. We have nutritional source books that halve that estimate. Regarless it is a small amount. Avoid wines, such as most but not all Reislings, that contain residual sugar.
