We are in the business of marketing and distribution of South African Wines in Nigeria. The consumption level of Wine in Nigeria has gone real up. There has been this question of South African Wines being rated the best in the Wine Region. Could anyone assist us with the publication or where to get such recent Wine rating publication on South African Wines compared with other wines from other wine producing Region.
Your asistance would be highly appreciated as we would want to use it for a Wine Tasting Event in Nigeria.

Thank you.

The wine industry of South Africa received minimal international attention. Its isolation was exacerbated by the boycotts of South African products in protest against the country's system of Apartheid. It was not till the late 1980s and 1990s when Apartheid was ended and the world's export market opened up that South African wines began to experience a renaissance. Many producers in South Africa quickly adopted new viticultural and winemaking technologies. The presence of flying winemakers from abroad brought international influences and focus on well known varieties such as Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. Very interesting. Are there any S.A. wines imported in the US? Let us know. I would definitely try them. WW
