- Scoop - 07-19-2002 Seems that a Federal judge in Texas has declared Texas' law on wine shipping -- which allows in-state wineries to ship directly to Texas residents, but leaves out-of-state wineries out of the loop -- is unconstitutional. Another victory against the 3-tier tyranny! (There's an article on the Wine Spectator on-line). We're going to make it to the Supreme Court very soon, and the Commerce Clause will be the wine lovers' best friend. Yeah, MY house. That's the ticket. |
