Next Wednesday, barring a snowstorm, I will be attending a Burgundy wine dinner at Enoteca Vin in Raleigh. Winemaker for Louis Jadot will be presenting some white and red Burgundies including a Vosne-Romanee.
February 17-19 is the Triangle Wine Experience benefiting Frankie Lemmon School for children with special needs. I have signed up for the winemakers' dinner with Landmark at Margaux Restaurant in Raleigh (second choice was a dinner with Quintessa at Il Palio in Chapel Hill). I am also going to the Friday evening event where all the vintners offer pours. Will not attend any of the seminars or the auction this year.
Chateau Palmer is the featured Bordeaux growth this year. (I doubt they will be pouring any of the Chateau Palmer on Friday night.) Website is www.trianglewineexperience.org.
