I'll bring in my notes later in the week and post in the appropriate threads. Attended seminars by Banfi representative on wines of Tuscany, Allied Domecq representative for tasting of Cockburn Ports, Michel Chapoutier representative on northern and southern Rhone, cooking demonstration on cocktail foods, and a Robert Mondavi rep on Napa Valley wines. Arrived too late for the blind tasting conducted by Bruce Cass. Also three evenings of tastings with fabulous dinners and a luncheon with golfing apparel fashion show. Lots of rain this weekend (second year in a row that the golf tournament was held in the rain) but North Carolina needs the rain desperately. Water restrictions have been in place at hotels and restaurants but they were able to use china dishes and metal utensils at Carolina Inn (not paper plates and plastic throwaways).
