I don't expect to be able to attend this year but here is the website:

KC and Glass_A-Day should consider it.

Eng is a local, too.

Now that I've looked at it closer, that seems like a good opportunity to get some sailing in. We could take a couple days to sail over, spend the weekend there on the boat, attend the wine festival, then sail back. That would be a nice week off.

Now that does look nice. Thanks for the link WOW. I was just at the host hotel's site too. Would love to stay there and take in the event. Will look into if they have a minimum stay. I've never been to either island and this seems a perfect excuse!!

Some of the wine dinners are already sold out so it is a good idea to reserve for events early. I'm not sure about the refund policy if you need to cancel later so check that out before making your reservations. KC won't need hotel accommodations if he stays on the boat but the inns do fill up also. I have stayed at Roberts House Inn and Pineapple Inn (especially pleased with the latter). There are less expensive locales also but here is a good source:
http://www.nantucket.net (and then look under accommodations for inns, hotels, etc.)
(The first year I had planned my days on Cape Cod and Nantucket before I knew about the Wine Festival and was staying on Cape Cod during the festival so I ferried back and forth for two or three days running!) I got to know the ferry schedule fairly well. That's another option but it is more convenient staying on the island.
