Sunday ~ 11-24-02 ~ 2-6:00pm.
Peconic Bay Winery's 'great lawn' located on the Main Road in Cutchogue, New York. (eastern Long Island's North Fork)
Join our winemaker, Greg Gove, as he pulls straight from the barrel our 2001 Merlot. A selection of international cheeses will be featured along with culinary tastings provided by some of Long Island's top chefs (see below). The culinary students from NYIT Culinary Arts Center in Central Islip will prepare an entree and dessert, which will be paired with Peconic Bay's dessert wine, "Polaris", a Riesling Ice Wine. Local chefs participating in this event will be; Michael Meehan from the Seafood Barge, Todd Jacobs from Tierra Mar, Tom Schaudel of Coolfish, EVO & Tease, Matt Murphy of Antares Cafe' and Taylor Alonso from The Bellport.

A portion of the proceeds will be used to provide financial assistance to a selected East End student at NYIT's Culinary Arts Center in Central Islip, NY.

This event is scheduled for Sunday, November 24th from 2-6pm. Thanksgiving Day, this year, is 11-28.
