so, for a light meal, i was thinking butternut squash soup and turkey sandwiches (i know, a bit out of season, but it has been a nasty weather weekend here).
would you pick a pairing based on the soup or the sandwich or both?

May be too late on this if it was yesterday's meal. I'm a little vague on what to pair with the soup but like Gewurztraminer, Riesling, Beaujolais with turkey sandwich. In other words, a white wine or less full bodied red. A rose' wine might also be a good pairing.
