- Georgie - 10-27-2004 I just got an e-mail notice from Glenora regarding a new "What is Wine?" class that foodie will be teaching each month. It sounds fantastic. Maybe I'll make it up for one or two of those since my other trip was a bust! - Thomas - 10-27-2004 Georgie, I was beginning to think those promos would never get out. Right now, we are talking about one class a month--second Tuesday. But I think we could establish three-day weekend classes with tours etc. Maybe after the New Year. - Georgie - 10-28-2004 Sounds great! I just love how this wine board has given me excuses to travel! Finger Lakes, Washington state and now San Antonio! Sisterdear and I are traveling there for a weekend in January to support our chorus conductor who also conducts the San Antonio Opera. Yes, he commutes several times a year from NJ to SA. It was her idea to surprise him by attending; I thought it would be a great excuse to see SA and catch up hotwine! - wondersofwine - 10-28-2004 Allow some time, Georgie and Sis to see the places along Riverwalk. - Innkeeper - 10-28-2004 Warning Gil (hotwine) is a geezer just like me. - Georgie - 10-28-2004 You mean an oldie but goodie? - Scoop - 10-28-2004 Way to go Foodie! When's the TV show airing? Cheers, Scoop |
