2001 Casa Lapostolle Clos Apalta - TheEngineer - 12-23-2013

What a great wine this is. I think perfect at this age. Ethereal, what an insanenose, floral, light fruit, somoe seocndary items just starting but very primal, fresh even for a 12 year old wine.

then the palate is something else too, great balance in the wine, with a good structure, perfectly to hang the wine one. berries, currrant, tobacco, coffee, just perfect at this point. If you have a case, start drinking but I'd love to see this in a few years too!

Had this a few years ago and loved it as you. Didn't post notes but agree a beautiful wine!
