1994 Musar - TheEngineer - 04-25-2013 What a lovely little wine! Nose is subtle but with the typical funk. the wine is dry but has a bit of sweetness in it. Nice ripe fruit, just mellow and slowly moving into its second phase. It is still garnet in colour but the wine has lost its luster. Very nice little drink! RE: 1994 Musar - Kcwhippet - 04-25-2013 Had it about four years ago. Spectacular then. RE: 1994 Musar - TheEngineer - 04-26-2013 KC, this was served to me blind I nosed it for about 5 seconds and guessed that it was a musar! that will never happen again!!! RE: 1994 Musar - winoweenie - 04-27-2013 You'd be surprised Eng! Those wines are so distinctive that even "Bad-Nose Harry" Can pick them dudes outta' a lineup. WW [/quote] I'm a radical who says there's a reason such wines can be picked out of a lineup, and it ain't exactly a good reason. |
