2002 Comte Lafon Monthelie Les Duresses - TheEngineer - 02-11-2013

It's been a while since I've had this wine, back then it was a good deal at around $30 but the prices of this wine has increased so much over the last few years that I no longer buy this despite paying handsomely still for their whites.

For a premier cru, I like this wine more than most peple, it is a medium body lighter structured wine with an overt acidic backbone that others fine more predominant than I. Having said that I also agree that it is either very dumbed down or it is time to drink up about a decade into its life. No rush to be sure but does not seem like it will improve much with age compared to my previous notes.
