A month ago, found the shelves bare of Dewar's 12 yo which had become my nightly dram, so was scanning the shelves for an equivalent malt and found this one. Very pleasantly surprised! And now I don't care if they never get the Dewar's back in stock, if they'll keep this available!

Aged in an ex-bourbon cask, it has a rich brown color and spicy nose and gives a mild, clean bite on the tongue. Watered with chilled Pellegrino, it offers a soothing digestiv just before bedtime and lets the old boy sleep like a baby.

At 86 proof and about $30.

Haven't consumed Scotch (or any distilled spirits) in many years, but Pulteney is the name of the town in which I live, so I read the post...

Really!!! I thought you lived in Hammondsport.

Hammondsport is the location of the post office that services us. Also, Hammondsport is a village, located within the Town of Urbana.

The Town of Pulteney boasts about 800 families and 800 feet above sea level, too.
