2010 La Vielle Ferme Recolte Rose', AOC Ventoux. Made with Grenache and Cinsault from the slopes of Mont Ventoux. Have not purchased a lot of wine from this maker, thinking of them as sort of French Gallo. However Dan Berger recommended it, so we thought we'd give it shot.
It turned to be a very refreshing wine that goes good with food and could also work solo. It is not completely dry, but neither is it too sweet.
We matched it with Coho salmon steaks grilled over charcoal and pecan chips, napped with Hollandaise to which we had added some Fine Herbs; rice pilaf, and green peas. Excellent Friday night meal.
