- MATTHEWHARRIS - 10-31-2002

I received a bottle of 1975 Chateau Gloria St. Julien. The labe. in addition to the name indicated Henri Martin, Proprietaire A St.Julien-Beychevelle.

Can someone please let me know about this wine?
What is the value?

Well, 1975 was a fairly decent year in St. Julien except most of the wines were overly tannic. If that bottle has been well stored since release, then there's a chance it could be drinkable, assuming the tannins have resolved and left any fruit behind. If you were to buy it at retail now, you would probably pay about $65 to $70.
