Nice pale golden color BUT THE NOSE!! Holy cow! Would make a powerful antiseptic if you lost a knife-fight on a Saturday night. Much more of the same on the palate, powerful, almost drain-cleaner caliber. Not my cuppa but the alkie is OK at 51.4% alc/vol, maybe a little light for a single malt single cask. One of the samples from the Scotch Malt Whisky Society membership kit.

Will probably palm this off on the next poor unsuspecting slug who darkens my door and asks, "Hey, you got any scotch?"

Tried numerous times, but just not a big fan of the Springbank cask strength bottlings.

Can see why!

Finally brought up from foggy memory cells the stuff this thing reminds me of..... skinned knee and Ivory soap: the knee called for iodine, and swearing called for having my mouth washed out with soap. Definitely not smells or tastes I look for in a libation!
