Color of cranberry juice... whew! Sulfur! Big time, on the nose and palate! Let it blow off for an hour or so and that helped a lot. Settled down to a nice accompaniment to baked salmon, wild rice & green beans. Just much too young, that's all.... will need patience, which is in short supply here.... 13% alc/vol and $19.99 at Costco. Would be better with pork.

Had another with pork chops tonight.... baked spuds, roasted broccoli... big difference. No sign of sulphur this time, but kind of wimpy with the mustard & garlic gravy. Nice enough, but we're just accustomed to more backbone in a wine at dinner. Spoiled buggers.

Took a couple of these to a lady's b-day party last week, and to good friends' pre-Thanksgiving dinner last night; both menus centered on baked ham, and the Rossignole was perfecto. Will use again for our own Thanksgiving dinner featuring smoked and baked turkeys.
