Popped this sucker up last Friday. Opened with a really sharp nose of mineral, pineapple, pear and other tropical citrus. Acidity, balance and finish were near perfect. While I love buttery chardonnays from Napa, I have fallen in love with the precise delivery of white Burgundy.

Consumed with cheese, fresh fruit. Perfect finish to a hot Texas day. :-D

I think the wines labeled Olivier Leflaive are the negociant wines (not estate grapes) but even there I found the 2006 Olivier Leflaive Puligny Montrachet to be high quality. This producer may become one of my favorites for white Burgundies.
