Winoweenie: Our search engine is not quite to the level of say google's but we are working on it constantly. One way you can improve your results though is to search single words because our system cant catenate words yet. Try this:
</br></br>
1) Search on Mondavi (spelling and case will matter too)
</br>
2) A new page will refresh that shows some postings that the search sees as containing the word “Mondavi”
</br>
3) Click on any of the postings
</br>
4) Once that posting is open, hit Control-F and your browser will open up at the top or the bottom, its own “text search” – it will literally highlight the places
</br>
</br>
Here is a list of the articles on the 1994 Mondavi Cab:

WOW Winescom I thought you were building a bigger and better wineboard. I can assure you the old wineboard wasn't " on the level of Google " but all I had to do to get info on whether a wine had been posted on was to type in the vintage, winery, and varietal and ALL OF THE PREVIOUS postings were shown. Now this new " BETTER board all I have to do is jump thru some hoops, play a Sitar with one hand, talk to my dummy with my mouth full owater and then select from 16 https' and maybe I'll find something....C'MON BUBBA get serious and admit you didn't pay a bloomin' bit of attention to what you were replacing. The problem with the search engine is that you cannot search a specific forum listing as it will only search the entire board which makes the search process daunting. For example, can the software be set to allow searches of the Cabernet Sauvignon topic only?

We will have to program the search to do that. I will check to see. Shouldnt be an issue.

WW, sorry but we did pay a lot of attention, but we didnt get it ALL right, right away. It takes time and money, two of which we are pumping into the forum. The forum does now get searched on Google and other sites so that should increase traffic quite a bit as the site continues to grow.

It takes time and all I can ask for is patience, its up to you to give it to me. Thanks and I am sorry its taking so much time, but it is being done.

OK, I typed in one word (Lagrein) and got nothing. I know that I have posted on it a number of times.

And another thing. It used to be that the name of the poster was on the right hand side of the post. Now it is the person who last responed it the post. This also makes it hard to find things. I'm halfway out here right now.
