50/50 Cab-Merlot. Used to be one of my favorite drinking reds until the mity Tom decided to graft the merlot vines over to Pinot and cab. Such a shame. Not earth-bending but always pleasant and tasty and this last version is no exception. Not a great ager but with some stubble blends the 2 into harmony. Love the stuff. WW

Bad subject line but close. My daughter & S.I.L. gave me a bottle of 2002 Claret and Opened yesterday and all my predictions were confirmed. A mere shadow of its' former self it twere running on fumes. Every gulp or so lovely fruits would emerge from the almost vinegar base and remind me the many major fun times I had with this great bottling. Refused to give a sip to ennybodi so as not to besmirch this wines memory. WW
