It's quite the mouthful for the name...from the lover of Germany wines....in fact, the real name is longer. It's 2002 Bodegas Compañía Vinicola del Norte de España Vina Real Pagos de Vina Real Rioja.

Opened with a sign, but that was the last soft thing about this wine. The aromas exploed out into th e rest of the room! Oak oak oak for sure, but very floral, violets, bright red and ripe cherry, more deeper ripe fruits, a bit hot on the finish right now (14% ABV and seems higher frankly). Still tannic and full bodied but good complexiity, good interest in the wine.
