Eight South American Reds for $25 or Less
Argentinean Malbecs offer appealing fruit flavors at attractive prices

For many years the South American spotlight was on the value-priced wines of Chile. But after extensive investment in winemaking technology throughout the 1990s, the wines of Argentina are coming into their own. The star varietal is an unlikely candidate: Malbec. This red wine grape is native to southwestern France but has found a home in Argentina, particularly in the Mendoza region. Medium- to full-bodied and fruit-forward, these wines display an array of berry flavors. The oak treatment that they typically receive smooths out the edges and integrates spice and smoke notes.

Neets wellcome to the board. How-ever, your post looks suspicially like an ad for another site to me. That is a No-No. Tasting notes only are allowed in these threads. If you want to promote another site, take it to the ad section. WW
