I have a 1998 Peller Estates Vidal Icewine. Will the age of this wine impact its taste??

As icewines have extremely high sugar content, and if the seal is right and if stored properly, icewines should last somewhere around the 20 year mark, sometimes more. However, the flavor will change I've been told (not ever having had any 20 year ice wines). Peller is a good producer and certain capable of decent wines. Certainly nothing wrong with popping the cork to try to see if you like the stuff first before going through the trouble of storing them for 20 years. There are many decent recent vintages in Niagara.
