My yopungest and only son paid us a suprise visit from Minneapolis Friday. 3 of his 4 sisters live here or close (one in Prescott) so we had lots of stuff-n-such going on. Being a musician he arrived with red and gold streaked hair that was past his shoulders. Not one sideways glance did he garner whenced we were diding at the Phoenician. Guess the rest of us are so normal looking people took him for one of the may rock-star celebs that reside here. I can assure you they did make some room in the cellar for the 40 or so cases sitting on the floor but the whole reason for this post is to confirm the star of the proceedings; The Sergio Mionetto Prosecco was an instant star. As one daughter succintly exclaimed " This stuff is dancing in my mouth ". Just did a countdown and have 2 bottles left from the case. Thanks SB for the "taste-up". A whale of a bubbly. We even had it for breakfast at my grand-daughters Sunday. WW

Ooh...Prosecco for breakfast....I could go for that!

Georgie- I have had this one for breakfast. Makes breakfast with a special person even better. He doesn't particularly like sparkling wines. I assured him that this has gentle bubbles. He agreed to try it at one of our favorite new restaurants and really liked it. Then I purchased several more bottles and served one with breakfast. : )

Prosecco for breakfast -- oh, yeah! We've been enjoying a Bellini for brunch often this summer up at the lake cottage (The Mimosa was becoming ho-hum. . . .!) We make our Bellini with 5 ounces of prosecco, 1 ounce white peach puree and one perfect raspberry. Delightful!!

Nice visit, WW. We've been looking for the Mionetto locally but no luck yet, for some reason Prosecco is lean in these here parts.

when I started looking for this around here, the first store said "what?" but my standby store had it right on the shelf. I'm thinking about adding a little Chambord to it- not always, but as a new way to try it ?
