I was given a bottle of 1953 Chianti a few days ago. I know very little about wine, but I was told it was stored in a celler for a good number of years. The ouside of the bottle has what looks like plant leaves around it and most of the old packaging still on it. I was wondering weither or not I should attempt to sell it or drink it? If I should sell it then how would I go about finding a good price? I can't seem to find the bottle anywhere on the internet. I'm some what lost when it comes to all of this.
Please help the newbie?
Thank you

Hi rzanter and welcome to the board. The wine is deader than our Thanksgiving turkey and has no value except for curiosity seekers. Sorry. WW
