My neighbor's father died recently and had in his cellar, 66 Moet & Chandon champagne, Liebfravmilch 1972, Lancers 1976 & 1971, Mondavi Gamay Rose 1980, Inglenook Traminer 1973, lots of Weibel and Italian wines 1970
Anyone interested or can you forward a collectors e-mail to me. Thanks, great site.

Maury, unless you have a child who needs to do a history project on "Wines that should have been drunk 25 years ago and are now dead", you should just visit your local recyling center. Sorry, Roberto

Hi amoury and welcome to the board. None of the wines your friend had were collectibles. All were made to be consumed on release and as Boto said, have long since gone to the ole vinegar barrel in the sky. Sorry. WW

Thanks for your comments. Me and my hubby, Amaury don't know much about wine. He's Cuban and drinks rum. I'm a dedicated martini drinker, however we wouldn't turn down a glass of lovely French champagne! Wanted to help a friend who's not on-line. I've gotten quite an education from the wine sites. Thanks again for your quick response. Have a lovely evening. Mary @loverspassion.com
