What would you guys think of starting a new forum on wines available from Traders Joes and Costco... I'm thinking that it might be helpful to a lot of newcomers. What's your reaction to this idea?

Isn't that somewhat redundant? Isn't that what Deals/Best Buys do without the obvious free advertising? Just me .01 WW

I'm with WW on that. Costoc is already the biggest wine retailer in the country. And their inventory varies by store and turns over very quickly, further complicating any effort to post alerts on their offerings. A suggestion to a newbie to check them out should be sufficient.

If you think that another topic would be a help to the continued success of wines.com then I'm all for it. I read in other forms the same topic and it is one with a lot of traffic over the years.

I live in MA so these forums unfortunately are of very little use to me though as I have to go past KC to get to a trader joes that sells wine (abet only about 500 yards or so ). Also stock change over at Trader Joes? not here...stock movement is almost glacial in terms of label change over.

However, in other parts like CA where the change over is large, it is the change over that generates the constant new posts and readership.

I was in Whole Paycheck the other day and bought a case of what is the cheapest 2005 JJ Prum Wehlener Sohnunur Riesling Auslese this year. $45 with 20% off or $432 by case / #36 by btl. Consider this the first thread?
