I could not be happier for our Victor. He has worked very hard to get where he is, and dang, he's only 20!!! Think what he'll be doing at 30. Those of you who met him know he is one nice guy! (He is also Mr. October in the 2006 calendar.)

Will send it out to the "off board" mailing list when it starts.

K

btw-- Kidding boys-- I have already told Vic to set some cases aside for you both when they bottle in Dec. ("Coyote" San. will be bottled within a month.)

"I want to make a wine that will stand out, a wine that will make people say, 'That's Victor,' "

I think he's already done that as far as I'm concerned. His Grenache/Gewutztraminer blend is a wonder. Those who know Judy know she hates Grenache, and she's turned up her nose at wines with as little as 5% Grenache. However, when she tasted this wine without knowing there was 95% Grenache, she was blown away, more so after she gheard what was in her glass. That single barrel Mourvedre would have made at least a four lapper for WW. I can't wait to hear his reaction when he tastes it finally. No doubt in my mind, those wines are Victor, and I can't wait to see what he comes up with next.

I missed this when first posted. Victor IS a nice guy (as were the two Matts and others we met) and his wines were terrific! I have praised Willow Crest wines on this and another wine forum. CCK, I'll probably spring for a 2006 calendar if you haven't pre-sold them all. Thanks again for your hospitality in Prosser.

When will the wines be ready Kat? Let me know, send a bill or e-me. WW

- chittychattykathy - 12-15-2005

Jane, email me your home address again and i will mail one out to you tomorrow. WW The winefrom Willow Crest will be bottled mid-Jan. Victor is holding three cases for me/us.

Coyote Canyon (Matt 2) will start bottling at the begining of Jan. We tasted through all the 05's yesterday and the whites are coming along great! Today we're off to Yakima to taste through the 04 reds and make some plans...

Whaddya mean three cases from Victor? I'm in for a case of the Grenache/Gewurtz and a case of the single barrel Mourvedre. That leaves only a case of whatever for the rest of you.

- winoweenie - 12-15-2005

My achin' sweet-patootie youse gets 2/3rds of the available. I'll sue. WW
