Thomas has the answer and the cause. Maybe he'll come on and tell you'uns. WW

If my antenna is correct, WW is plugging my latest book: The Complete Idiot's Guide to Starting and Running a Winery.

They hired the right person for that book--someone told them about my escapades owning a small winery. Who better than the one who made all the mistakes, and got everyone of them right???

The book has gotten a review or two online and seems to be doing ok.

Guess I'd better read Foodie's tome before I do something REALLY stupid in the Hill Country.

OOPS!!!! Pardon the overlook on my p[art about the forum. As I don't frequent any of them I said the WCWN instead of the WineLoversPage. Padon-E-Moi'WW

I looked up a review of Foodie's book on the "Fermentation" blog. It's also in shops in the right areas--Powell's Books in Portland, Oregon and UC-Davis bookstore.

WOW,

I have nothing to do with getting the book into the shops, but you've given me more information than the publisher has given me concerning the book's outlets.

This Saturday, I'm doing a book signing at Glenora, so any of you in the neighborhood, drop by, and no, WW, I can't pick you up at Newark Airport...

Hotsie, I've learned that all the information in the world doesn't stop us from doing stupid things. We just do them with a heightened ability to identify them after the fact.

How about LaGuardia? WW

My copy of "Garlic, Wine and Olive Oil" sits right underneath Willie Gluckstern's book "The Wine Avenger." But only because Willie's book is smaller and it does not make sense to pile books from the smallest up to the largest - the pile gets top heavy.

So don't worry, Foodie, yours is near the top!

My next stop - Amazon.com to purchase my copy of "how to find out how you were in idiot" (Not that I would think you are, because I know better!!)

Best to you - keep writing and we'll keep reading!
