I received a beautiful photo from Innkeeper honoring the September 11th victims and their families and friends. It shows <A hREF="../../../art/american.jpg">Innkeeper's family home in Maine</A> at lilac time. You'll enjoy this.
I have just finished putting the final touches on an electronic bid form for <A hREF="http://www.wines.com/gary_farrell">Gary Farrell Wines' silent wine auction</A>, which begins today. 28 cases of rare library wines from the Russian River & Sonoma County will be auctioned off. 100% of the proceeds will benefit the Sept 11th fund. Gary Farrell is one of the nicest people you could ever want to meet. Pls. help us get the auction started with a bid if you can, and encourage other wine lovers to participate. The wine will be wonderful. Maybe some of you can comment on that.
I'm also in the process of designing another web site for a non-profit organization that is collecting teddy bears for children who've lost parents or loved ones in the Sept 11th tragedy. Look for it in a week or so at bearhugs4kids.org. I'll let you know when it's up and running.
Maybe one of the lessons that will come of this is a realization that ultimately we must take care of each other. What a change that would make in our world.
