My wife purchased one bottle of this the year we were married and we still have it. She had told our kids thay can open it on our 50th anniversary or upon our death whichever comes first. Does anyone know anything about this bottle, Is it a collectors item???

Doubtful a collector's item. Am not personally familiar w/ Hoopers, but I know that Bern's (a fine restaurant in Tampa) still offers the 1959. 1960 was a good year for port in general. Assuming reasonable storage (e.g. no extreme temperatures) the port should be good for the children to drink. cp
