- commander - 07-22-2004 I have 2 bottles of unopened Mouton-Cadet wines, one red, one white, stored on their side in a cool, dry location, showing 1987 & 1989 respectively. Would they still be o.k. to drink? Thank you. - Innkeeper - 07-22-2004 Hi Commander, and welcome to the Wine Board. That brand is released for immediate consumption. The red might still be OK. - winoweenie - 07-22-2004 Hi Conmmander and welcome to the board. Would be quite unlikely the 87 Red would be alive as it was not a good vintage in Bordeaux, and Ik is right about the White. WW - Thomas - 07-22-2004 The point is: open them and find out; they certainly are worthless otherwise. |
