Hello...My sister in Calif. doesnt have internet & wrote me asking if I can help find out if some wine she has if worth opening & also if they are sweet? 1) 1956 PAUL MASSON Calif. Champagne Brut 1956 Highest Award Official Calif. Wine Judgings, Paul Masson Vineyard, San Fran., Ca. 2) 1965 MONDAVI VINTAGE Nappa Valley Burgandy, C. Mondavi & Sons, St. Helena, Ca. 3) 1966 MIRAFORE VINTAGE BARDOLINO SUPERIORE, A Mirafore Canelli-Italy wine bottled in Zone of Production by A.V.F.F Snc. Sora-Verona, agent Paterno Imports Ltd. Chicago - New York
She sent me a list which includes 9 more wines she has. I will start with these. Any input will be referred to Jan in Calif.Thank you for your input.

Hi Susan and hate to be the bearer of tacky news. All of the wines listed hit the big vinegar barrel in the sky long ago. WW

If these are an indication of the rest of the list, tell her to pop the corks, stand back and let them gurgle down the drain. These died over thirty years ago. I can't believe there's actually someone in CA who DOESN'T have access to the internet.
