Can anyone give me advice on types of red and white wines to serve with a greek dish called pastitsio. The main ingredients are pasta, ground chicken and parmesan cheese. I will also be serving a greek salad and possibly roasted peppers sauteed in olive oil.
Thank you.

Hi Angie and welcome to the board. I love the dish and my favorite red with it is a fruity zinfandel ( not too alcoholic ) like the Gallo sonoma zin. Someone else will have to help on the white. I'd probably drink gewurztraminer WW

I'd choose a nice Pinot Grigio for the white, one like Tommasi.

I was thinking of getting 1995 Gallo Zinfandel Frei Ranch, USA/California. Would this wine also go with BBQ steak/chicken?
