Welcome to this board, Cal.
Here's some info. that may help. Selby Winery

Healdsburg, CA 95448
Selby is a fine winery that produces Chardonnay, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel and Syrah wines.
Syrah wines, produced from the syrah grape,
are rich and flavorful from the Rhone Valley, Australia (where it's known as Shiraz) and California. They are full bodied and dense, ripe, and complex red wines. Their flavors are described as dark, dense red berry fruit with hints of bacon fat, tar, pepper and spice. Syrah is one of my favorites. During the last 6+ years, Selby has produced syrahs of high quality earning high eighties in quality points from Wine Spectator.

Susie Selby is (was?) the SO of Erich Russell of Rabbit Ridge. She is (was?) also the assistant winemaker there, making and selling wines under her own label. I hope the links and information above are helpful.
