I just got a 1997 Ossidiana Red wine by Viansa Winery. I can't find anything on it like the value of the bottle and the rating and so on.

The person who gave it to me said this bottle is more valuable because it isn't a regular issue. It was autographed in gold by the creator of the wine but his signature is not easily legible so if you could tell me who it was signed by as well I'd really be greatful.

Ossidiana is made by Viansa, as you know, which is named for Vicki and Sam Sebastiana (Sam signed the bottle). It's essentially Cabernet Franc with a small bit of Cab Sauv, and is made to age about 10 - 15 years. Viansa wines aren't sold in retail shops or in restaurants, so you can only get the wines from the winery. They don't make large amounts of wine, so you don't often see them reviewed or scored. Release price for the 1997 was about $125 retail (at the winery) or $93.75 if you were a member of the Tuscan Club. You can check some stuff on them at their web site -- www.viansa.com.
