I AM GOING TO A TASTING WHERE YOU MUST BRING A TEN YEAR OLD WINE AND IT MUST BE A 90 POINTER. I RECALL THE MARKHAM BEING ON THE WS 100 LIST ABOUT 5 YEARS BACK. CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP FIND OUT WHAT IT'S POINT SCORE WAS.

THANKS

ANDY

Hi Andy, and welcome to the Wine Board. The wine should be ready to drink, it is ten years old, and if it was on the WS top 100 list it almost had to be in the 90s.

Having said all that I wouldn't go to the party, unless I knew the people very, very well. First off, you otherwise won't know how all the others stored their stuff. More importantly what are the chances that all the geeks that gave the scores were on your wavelength?

THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY INNKEEPER
THE TASTING IS AT A LOCAL WINE STORE AND IS LIMITED TO 16 PEOPLE-SO I GUESS WE EACH GET TO TASTE 1 1/2 OUNCES OF EACH BOTTLE THAT THE GROUP BROUGHT. IT SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD WAY TO TASTE SOME 10 YR OLD OR MORE 90 POINTERS
