I picked up a bottle of this in Paris either last year or the year before and I don't know anything about it, or I have forgotten what I did know when I bought it. I am just trying to make an excel sheet of my wines, so any information would be helpful. Possible original purchase price? Any increase in value? (not that I care, because I will eventuall drink it, but I am obsessive....)Anyone rate this? (ie.. Parker, Spectator etc...). If so what rating? When the best time to drink it is (maturation date or range). Any and all other info would be appreciated.

1998 chateau tour de bardes saint emilion grand cru

Any info on this one as well would be appreciated:
2003 Barone Bianchi Novello

One more:
2002 Georges Dubouef La Trinquee Julienas

THANKS !!

Hi Trish!

Welcome to the wineboard!

The bordeaux will be predominately Merlot because it's from St. Emilion. 1998 was a very good vintage so this bottle will probably last a few more years. Keep it cool and away from sunlight. It could be a third or fourth lable of La Tour - I'm just not sure.

The Bianchi Novello is stumping me. Generally Novello is comprised of Merlot, Sangiovese and Cabernet - yet this one is white. I'm just not sure.

The Dubouef Julienas La Trinquee is a beaujolais. The 02' vintage got a great rating in Spectator and because it's not a "nouveau" you are in good shape. That one can be laid down for a few more years. Again, cool place - no sunlight.

I'm sure others will have opinions as well.

Hope that helps.
