Hi everyone! I am wondering if anyone can recommend a good wine to go with mexican food, I like sweeter wines. Also, if you could recommend a good dessert wine, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

Welcome to the wineboard!
Rule of thumb with spicy food is to drink sweeter wine. Luckily for you that's what you are asking for!
I would go to your local retailer and find the German section and find a Reisling or Gewurtztraminer (Ge-vurtz-tra-meener). Someone in the shop should be able to help you as well.
Many on this board have spoken about Bonny Doon Vin Glacier as a wonderful and inexpensive dessert wine.

Hi Jlforbess, and welcome to the Wine Board. Most would say beer, but if you want to try a wine, try a nice jammy red zinfandel. For dessert Port is tops. There are some great buys on faux ports from Australia that are super too.
