I have been knowticing an increased pressence of wine in movies. Like we used to see with cigarettes (cept cigs is nasty). Watched "what lies beneath" and it even had a clear label 1997 Louis Jadot Pinot Noir. I hope this means an increased consumption of the juice and more variety available in smaller markets like mine.

Barnsey, just before the Chardonnay craze hit America I noticed the wine was mentioned in movies and on TV quite a lot. Then, Merlot was being mentioned. I suppose we should watch for the Pinot Noir craze--which incidentally has started here in NYC, along with the Rhone Red craze.
