As my winter/spring work schedule kicks into gear, I'm finding myself at best to have one glass of vino each night from Mondays through Thursdays. I know that wine generally ought to be consumed once it's open, and that some techniques (such as pouring leftover wine into smaller bottles) can help wine last an extra day or so, but are there any wines (under $15!) that are particularly known for lasting for a few days in an opened (cork or screwcap) bottle in the fridge? Or has there been another thread on this that I've missed?

Invest ten bucks or so in Andrea Immer's 2004 "Wine Buying Guide for Everyone." She gives staying power on over 600 popular wines, most of which are under $15.

IK's suggestion sounds like good advice. The only wine I've posted on lately at that price point that held up really well the next day was the 2000 Hudelot-Noellat Chambolle-Musigny, Cote-d'Or; see notes in the Pinot Noir thread. That one actually improved overnight. Know there have been others, but can't find 'em at present.
